Why Attend A USF Jumps Camp?
To be the best jumper possible you must learn the proper technique of your event. If you desire to get to the next level, compete at the state meet, contend for a state championship or simply just improve your performance it is critical to learn the proper skills. This camp will teach you those skills and prepare you for the upcoming 2011 track season. Don’t miss this opportunity to prepare for the 2011 Track Season!

All day registrations also includes Lunch
Register early, each camp will have a limited enrollment (20)
and the registration deadline is one week prior to camp date.
Camp Information
Camp activities include:
• One-on-one instruction
• Sprint drill instruction
• Approach work
• Technique Drills
• Video analysis of campers
• Video analysis of world-class jumpers
• Classroom instruction on technical aspects of the jumps and training theory

Campers should meet at the Lillibridge Track (69th and Cliff Ave.)
What to bring
Workout Clothes, water bottle, running shoes, spikes

9:20 a.m. Dynamic Warm-up, flexibility drills, Sprint drills
9:45 a.m. Runway mechanics; runway work (video)
10:15 a.m. Take-off- drills
10:45 a.m. Flight and landing
11:00 a.m. Full approaches with jump “set up”
11:30 a.m. Video Analysis
12:00 p.m. Lunch
12:30 p.m. Physiological laws of training, nutrition, etc.
1:00 p.m. Videos of world-class jumpers; motivational talk
1:30 p.m. Dynamic warm-up- sprint drills; core exercises
1:45 p.m. Runway work
2:00 p.m. Phase one work
2:20 p.m. Phase two work
3:00 p.m. Phase three and landing work
3:30 p.m. Video analysis
4:00 p.m. Camp concluded
